Aubrey Wyatt, a story heard around America of the 13 year old who never got to live to her fullest potential. The Ocean Springs middle school student took her own life September 4th, 2023 due to suicide. Aubrey's tragedy begins way before her suicide, about 3 years back when she began getting bullied by fellow peers and even an accusation of sexual assault on school grounds, all to which was reported to the school but no consequences were ever given.
The alleged reason why no consequences were ever given was because one of the accused bullies, Molly Noblitt's father is the superintendent of the middle school. The extent of Mollys torment on Aubrey even began to exceed cyber bullying when Aubrey's mother Heather Wyatt recalls a text from her daughter explaining Molly slapping Aubrey. Since Aubrey's death, multiple texts have surfaced of her and her alleged bullies, Aubrey pleading with them to stop harassing her. Heather Wyatt also released text messages of Aubrey naming her bullies and some of the day to day harassment she had to endure.
After the death of Aubrey, a SnapChat from the accused bullies gained traction because of the disgusting and disrespectful contents, a photo of a doll, undressed with a leg missing and red marker drawn all over and two girls pulling the arms apart. Heather Wyatt has since dedicated herself to getting well deserved justice for her daughter, spreading Aubrey's story on the internet which has since gained her millions of followers.
On her account Heather and her oldest daughter, Taylor share their process of grief even sharing the devastating day they found Aubrey on that September day. "September 4th, I opened a door and my whole life changed" Taylor admits. As time passes the case of Aubrey gained much attention and soon people began doxxing, harassing and threatening the bullies which landed Heather Wyatt in court. She was accused of instigating the harassment towards the bullies, whose names she had never shared on the internet forcing Heather to temporarily take down her account, also taking away the voice for Aubrey.
Fortunately, with the support of thousands online and in person the law suit was dropped but Heather continues fighting for justice till this day.
